Ali Alavi is the co-founder of GenerativeModels.ai, where he builds responsible AI platforms and high-impact SaaS products. With experience across startups and big tech in North America, Europe, and the Middle East, Ali has delivered edge AI solutions for autonomous vehicles, checkout-free retail, and healthcare. Most recently, he worked as a Senior ML Engineer at Axon, where he helped scale responsible AI systems used globally in public safety. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from ETH Zurich and is passionate about transforming cutting-edge AI research into practical, trustworthy products that drive real business impact.
Valentin Tsatskin combines Software Engineering, Data Science, and UX Design in his practice. Since graduating from the University of Waterloo, he has been involved in a plethora of work: creating novel ML explainability tools with Layer 6 AI at TD Bank; building passenger monitoring tools for autonomous vehicles; working on data science on Facebook's newsfeed, and Mozilla's Firefox & Firefox OS UX teams; developing a gaze-tracking system with Architech; presenting ML patient deterioration predictions for Grand River Hospital; and Co-founding Hack the North, Canada's largest Hackathon. Having led Paloma as CTO, Valentin carries forward that experience into his work at Generative Models.ai. He excels at creating experiences centered around technology.
